Personal profile:

Professor Yan Keyou is a doctoral supervisor and a candidate of "Xinghua Elite Scholar" at South China University of Technology. He graduated from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology with a Ph.D. and has engaged in post-doctoral research at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Later he became an assistant professor position at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Professor Yan has been engaged in the research of new photovoltaic materials and devices. So far he has published more than 60 academic papers in international journals, including Journal of the American Chemistry Society (JACS), Nature Communications, ACS Nano, and Energy & Environmental Science, etc. His paper has been cited for more than 4,000 times. Eight of them have been selected as ESI-highly cited papers. His academic achievements have been repeatedly reported and reviewed by academic media. He has been invited to give keynote reports at international academic conferences, such as UCLA’s AFM meeting chair and invitation report. As a young expert in the field of nanomaterials and new energy, he has become a reviewer for international journals such as JACS and Nature Communications, a member of the American Chemical Society (ACS), the Materials Society of America (MRS), and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). He has presided over national and regional talent projects worth more than 10 million yuan, and as a member, he has won a second prize of natural science from the Ministry of Education.
