Markov process, stochastic system stability and control research; stochastic complex network theory and its application; stochastic control theory and its application; stochastic system theory in economics and finance.

 Personal profile:

Zhu has been long engaged in the research of Markov process, stochastic system stability and control theory and application, and has made important progress. He has solved many open problems raised in international publications such as SIAM J. Control Optim. So far, he has published more 130 SCI-indexed papers in international journals such as Automatica, IEEE TAC, IEEE TNN, IEEE TSMC (Part B), IEEE TNNLS, and Syst. Control Lett. His papers have been cited more than 2,200 by SCI others. His SCI-indexed paper published in Nonlinear Anal.: RWA was rated as one of the 25 most popular articles in the Science Direct database in 2012. He has been selected to be the 2018 Global Highly Cited Scientist, awarded with the 2018 National Higher Education Teaching Achievement Award, the second prize, the 2016 Jiangsu Province "High School Natural Science Award", the first prize of the 2014-2017 Elsevier China Highly Cited Scholars the outstanding reviewer of the International SCI Journal of the Franklin Institute for two consecutive years in 2017 and 2018, and the outstanding reviewer of the internationally renowned SCI journal Fuzzy Sets and Systems in 2018 Manuscript (independent), 2018 Outstanding Reviewer of International SCI Publication Neurcomputing, 2018 Outstanding Reviewer of International SCI Publication Applied Mathematics and Computation, 2018 Outstanding Reviewer of International SCI Publication Chaos, Solitons and Fractals, 2018 International SCI Publication ISA Transactions Outstanding Reviewer, 2016 Jiangsu Province "Blue Project" young and middle-aged subject leader training object, 2015 Nanjing Municipal Government Outstanding Contribution Young and Middle-aged Expert, 2014 Fourth Jiangsu Provincial Mathematics Achievement Award, 2011 A number of scientific research awards, including China’s 100 most internationally influential academic papers, and the second prize of the 3rd China Operations Research Society "Youth Science and Technology Award" in 2008.
